Frequently Asked Questions

  • Pricing varies depending on several factors such as age, type of wood, product previously applied and type of product desired (solid stain vs. semi-transparent).  We do not quote over the phone, but are happy to provide free, no-obligation quotes.

  • Generally, for solid stain we use Sherwin-Williams.  For semi-transparent stain, we favor Wolman products.  Brands will vary depending upon application, such as log homes or exotic hardwood decks.

  • While this is possible in some cases, 99% of the time we will wash one day, then stain after the wood has dried completely a day or two later. 

  • No!  We use water-based stains for the vast majority of our applications, and our cleaners are all non-toxic and biodegradable.  Grass and plants will not be harmed during our process.

  • No, we strive to maintain all of your exterior surfaces.  This includes vinyl siding, concrete driveways and patios, and even roofs & gutters in some cases if scheduling permits.

  • This varies by location and time of year, but generally we are booked 3 - 4 weeks in advance. Request a Free Quote!

  • Absolutely not!  We complete the majority of our projects while folks are at work or even on vacation to minimize inconvenience.  As long as we have outside water and electricity (and, of course, outside access to your back yard), we are good to go!
